Donate To Us
Ring us at either Newbury or Basingstoke to arrange to donate any good quality surplus furniture, household goods, baby equipment or electrical items. Larger items can be collected from your home by our van crew on weekdays. We usually have a one to three day lead-in time for collections, but if you can bring items to us during our opening hours, we will gladly receive them.
To avoid a wasted journey, please ring us before you bring items, so we can confirm that we can make good use of them and they meet any relevant Trading Standards requirements.
All upholstered furniture we collect for reuse must comply with the 1988 Fire Regulations and either have a label attached which declares this or a label with a post 1988 manufacturing date.
All mattresses must also comply with Fire Regulations and have a label attached stating 'Resitant' with a symbol of a match or cigarette and be free of any stains.
We do accept working electrical goods, which we safety test, but no gas appliances.
Following a recent significant reduction in our grant funded support we are now requesting that donors make a voluntary contribution towards the cost of collecting donations. It currently costs an average of £15 for our vehicles to complete each collection. If you would like to make a contribution towards the cost of the collection please advise a member of our Staff when confirming details of your collection. Alternatively, you can make a contribution on line by clicking here.
